How Music influenced the Students
the-beatles.jpgThe 1960’s was a radical time in which different music emerged from the shadows of society. Radical musicians influenced students and young people to rethink their lives and their meanings. Artists such as Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, and the Rolling Stones dramatically changed the music of the era. The new music attacked society’s woes and flaws. The psychedelic music styles encouraged young citizens of America to look deeper in their minds. These radical change in music played an important part in America during the Vietnam War Era as it helped the students to create their own interpretations of their songs and to use them to create their own definitions of society and the world around them.
